Priorityfitness is a top functional gym based on the shore, our facility is intimate and very community driven, this year we are seeking fitness focused students to join our team and take part in our internship programme.
This is ideal for someone who are currently studying a related course or has been a trainer for a while and looking to further enhance their skills and knowledge base. This is an unpaid internship, however, hours worked will count towards studies and there is a possibility that suitable candidates can advance to paid positions afterwards.
Some of the things you will learn through this internship are:
– ESTABLISHING THE ROLE OF COACH AND ATHLETE/LIFTER AND WHY THAT’S SO IMPORTANT
– HOW TO BE CORRECTIVE AND EFFECTIVE IN YOUR COACHING CUES
CUES TO AVOID
– HOW TO ASSESS AN INDIVIDUAL BASED ON THEIR KNOWN PHYSICAL ABILITIES
– HOW TO ASSESS AN INDIVIDUAL TO DISCOVER CURRENTLY UNKNOWN ABILITIES AND LIMITATIONS
